Dramatic effects

A dramatic effect bursts over a token for everyone to see: a spray of blood, a flash of fire, a crackle of lightning. Use it for a big hit or a creature's end, and remove the token in the same move.

Play a dramatic effect

  1. Right-click a token and choose Dramatic Effect. With several tokens selected it says how many, such as Dramatic Effect (3 tokens).
  2. Pick an Effect: Blood splat, Acid splat, Fire, Frost, Electric, Thunder, Necrotic, Psychic, Radiant or Slashing.
  3. Add a Sound (optional) from your Sound Library.
  4. Tick Remove from Board to take the token off afterwards.
  5. Click Apply.

Everyone sees the effect, and the sound plays once for the whole table.

Note: Remove from Board deletes the token, not just hides it.

Use a recent one again

Your last 10 dramatic effects are kept for this game. Click one to play it again on the selected tokens straight away. If it removed tokens before, it removes these too, without asking.
