Frequently asked questions
Do my players need to pay?
No. Players join on a free account and can play in any game, whatever plan you are on. The GM's plan decides which GM tools the table has - the map builder, board layers, the asset drawer, weather, the world clock. A few per-player touches, dice effects among them, follow each person's own account rather than yours.
What does "founding price" mean?
The prices above are launch prices. They'll go up for new subscribers at some point. If you subscribe now, you keep your price for as long as your subscription stays active.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from your account settings. Your games stay; features from the plan you left switch off until you resubscribe.
Why is there a player limit?
Sync performance. Eight players plus the GM is what we've tested to keep sub-second updates for everyone. It's the same on every plan and it isn't a paywall.
What happens to my Free plan later?
Nothing. The Free plan doesn't expire and isn't a trial.
Is there a yearly price?
Not yet. Monthly only, at the founding rate.
