Characters you build in your account follow you from game to game. Keep them in your Sheet Library and bring one into any game that uses the same system.

For: Game Masters and players · Plan: Free · 1 minute

Open the Sheet Library

  • On your dashboard, click Character Sheets.
  • In a game, click Character Sheets on the tool rail, open the My Library tab, and click Open the full Sheet Library.

It has three sections:

  • My Characters and My Character Sheets: the characters you've built in your account. + Create starts a new one. Open (or Resume, if you didn't finish building it) opens it.
  • Free Library: ready-made characters anyone can use. Use in game puts a copy into a game.

Bring a character into a game

On one of your own sheets, click Bring to game and pick the game.

  • You get a copy in the game. The original stays in your account.
  • The game has to use the same system as the sheet.
  • The copy counts towards your plan's character sheet limit.
  • The game's Game Master (GM) decides whether you can bring your own characters at all, or whether they approve each one first. See Game settings.

What stays with each game

Maps, music, sounds, assets and everything else you upload to a game belong to that game. Start a new game from a content pack to copy a whole game's worth of material. See Start from a content pack.
