  • The current combatant is marked Current turn.
  • You click Advance Turn to move on. The player whose turn it is can click Finish Turn themselves.
  • After the last combatant, the round number goes up.
Advance Turn moves Current turn down the order.

During combat, a player can only move their token on their own turn. They see You can only move your token on your turn. if they try earlier.

Change the order

  • Drag a row to move it up or down.
  • Use a row's ⋯ menu for Set as active (jump to that combatant's turn) or Set initiative (type a new number).

There is no step back: use Set as active to return to someone.

Action pips

In a 5e game each row shows A (action), B (bonus action) and R (reaction), plus C while a character is concentrating. They light up as they're used and reset on the next turn.

Add or remove a combatant

  • Add: click Add Combatant, set a bonus (or leave players on Auto), and click + beside the token.
  • Remove: use the row's ⋯ menu and Remove from battle, then confirm.

Conditions in combat

Use the row's ⋯ menu and Conditions, or right-click the token. Set a duration in rounds, or leave it blank to last until you remove it. Badges show on the tracker and the token.

Hide or reveal a combatant

The row's ⋯ menu has Hide from players and Reveal to players.

End the battle

Click End Battle in the tracker, or in the Mode menu, and confirm. You can't change scenes during combat without ending the battle first: RollQuest asks if you try.

End Battle, then confirm.
