Create your account

You need a RollQuest account to run a game or join one. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or Discord.

Sign up

  1. Go to app.rollquest.io. The sign-in window opens on Sign Up, headed Enter, Stranger!
  2. Choose how to sign up:
    • With email: fill in the form below.
    • With Google or Discord: click Continue with Google or Continue with Discord and follow the steps there. By continuing you accept the terms and conditions.
  3. For email sign-up, fill in:
    • Display Name (optional): how you appear in games. It must be unique. Leave it blank and RollQuest uses the part of your email before the @.
    • Email.
    • Password: at least 6 characters. A mix of letters, numbers and symbols is stronger.
    • Confirm Password.
  4. Tick I accept the terms and conditions. The Sign Up button stays greyed out until you do. The marketing emails box is optional.
  5. Click Sign Up. RollQuest signs you in and opens your dashboard.

Note: if the window says Browser Not Supported, you are in Safari or Firefox. Switch to Chrome or Edge. See Browsers and devices.

Confirm your email address

After you sign up, RollQuest sends an email titled Confirm your RollQuest email address. Open it and click Confirm my email. The link works for 24 hours.

You can play straight away, but until you confirm, RollQuest won't let you:

  • invite players to a game,
  • upload files such as maps and portraits,
  • accept an invite to someone else's game,
  • upgrade your plan or install content from the marketplace.

A banner at the top of the screen reminds you: Confirm your email to unlock invites, uploads and marketplace installs. Click Resend email there if the first email didn't arrive. You can resend once a minute, up to 5 times an hour.

Accounts made with Google or Discord are already confirmed.

Sign in again

  1. Go to app.rollquest.io.
  2. Click Already have an account? Sign In.
  3. Enter your email and password and click Sign In, or use Continue with Google or Continue with Discord if that is how you signed up.

Forgotten your password

  1. On the sign-in window, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email and click Send Reset Email.
  3. Open the email and follow its link. The Set New Password window opens.
  4. Enter your new password twice and click Update Password. RollQuest takes you back to sign in.

If something's wrong

"This display name is already taken." Someone else has it. Choose another, or leave the field blank.

"An account with this email address already exists." You already have an account. Click Sign In instead.

"We could not verify that you are human." The security check failed. Try again, and turn off any extension that blocks scripts on the page.
