The marketplace

The marketplace sells ready-to-run content for RollQuest, from maps and card decks to whole campaigns, to use in any game you run.

The marketplace is a shop inside RollQuest for maps, scene packs, campaigns, stickers, card decks and map assets, some free and some paid. Use it when you want a map for tonight's session, or a whole adventure, without building it yourself. Anything you get goes into your library, and is yours to use in any game you run.

Beta: the marketplace is still rolling out, so it may not be on your account yet.

Open the marketplace

Click Marketplace on your dashboard. In a game you run, it's also in the menu (the three lines, top left).

Browse

Filter by type: All, Maps, Stickers, Characters, Decks, Content Packs, Map Assets or Bundles. Then narrow it to Free or Paid, and sort by Newest or by price. A type with nothing in it yet doesn't show.

  • Characters are ready-made characters for a game system.
  • Decks are decks of cards you deal to players. See Cards and decks.
  • Content Packs are games someone has built for you to play: a whole campaign or a single scene. See Start from a content pack.
  • Map Assets are pictures you place on top of a map, such as furniture or a campfire. See Assets.
  • Bundles are several products sold together.

A product page says what you get: a Scene pack adds to a game you already run, and a Playable game template starts a new one. Components included lists what's inside.

Buy something

  1. Click Buy now. (A free item says Add to library.)
  2. Choose your Billing country, and add a Discount code if you have one.
  3. Click Continue to payment and pay. Tax is worked out at payment.

You'll see Thanks for your purchase! Click Go to library to find it. You need a verified email address to buy.

Bundles cost less if you already own something in them.

Use what you bought

  • A campaign: click New Game, choose Use Content Pack, and pick it. It's marked Purchased. See Start from a content pack.
  • A scene pack: on its product page, click Add to game and pick a game, or New game with this scene. Or add it in a game: open Scenes from the menu and use the Library tab (the Scene Library).

Your purchases

The Purchases tab lists your Purchase history, each with its Receipt.
