Secret doors

A secret door is a door your players can't see. To them it's a solid wall until you reveal it.

Make a door secret

  1. Place a door as usual. See Doors.
  2. Right-click the door icon and choose Make Secret Door.

You see it in purple, with an eye icon, and as a dashed purple line in Doors mode. Your players see nothing there at all.

A secret door blocks sight and movement like a wall, even if you open it.

Make Secret Door turns the door purple for you and hides it from players. Remove Secret turns it back.

Reveal it

When the players find it, right-click the door icon and choose Remove Secret. It turns into an ordinary door that everyone can see and open.

Keep it shut

Lock Door stops anyone opening it, you included, until you choose Unlock Door.
