Campaigns you can run tonight

The marketplace is where finished content lives. Content packs are games built in RollQuest and ready to load: a whole campaign that starts a new game, or a scene pack, such as a tavern or a dungeon level, that drops into a game you already run. Map asset packs are prop sets for the Map Builder. Dice designs are free looks for your 3D dice. Some are made by the RollQuest team, some by creators.

Content packs

Load one into a new game and the world is already there: every scene with its map, tokens, walls, doors and lights, the stat blocks for its creatures, and its sounds and music. Read the pack's notes, and you have a session. A scene pack does the same for one place, added to a game you're already running. Some scenes are sold on their own: one-scene adventures from the RollQuest team, marked Scene, each saying which game system it works best with. Add one to a game from its page, or from the scene library inside any game you run, or start a new game with it. A free scene goes into your library in one click. Every plan can load content packs.

Map asset packs

Furniture, trees, headstones, siege engines and the rest, drawn top-down for the Map Builder (Pro), where you place them on a map you're painting. In the builder, + Get more opens the marketplace inside RollQuest.

Dice designs

Roll in a look of your own: ruby under gold filigree, rose felt, poured marble, a circuit board in the dark. Some designs swap a die for a sculpted 3D model, like the Goblin Box, whose d6 is a goblin with long ears and a hooked nose. Every design is free, on every plan. The Goblin Box and Obsidian & Gold are yours for the asking, the rest unlock as you play, and a few come for a limited time only. Pick one in Game Settings and everyone at the table sees it on your rolls. How dice designs work

For creators

If you've built an adventure people keep asking for, a content pack is how you ship it. On Pro, apply to publish from your profile. Once support approves your account, publish a game you've built as a content pack, and support reviews it before it goes live. Whoever loads it gets a copy of everything you built (scenes, walls, lights, tokens, sounds and music), and nothing they do changes your game. To sell a pack, or to bring a whole catalogue, talk to us first.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a paid plan to use a content pack?

No. Any plan can load one. A new game from a pack counts towards your plan's game limit, like any other game.

Do I need a paid plan to publish?

Yes. Publishing content packs is on Pro. You also apply from your profile: support approves your account, then reviews every pack before it goes live.

What rules do packs use?

Each campaign pack is made for a game system and says which: D&D 5e or 5.5e, Ashfall, Brightline, Drownwake or Ninefold. Create Game starts the new game on that system.

Can I buy homebrew here?

No. Homebrew packs, such as your own spells, items and classes, stay private to the GM who writes them and the games they add them to. See Homebrew.

Do dice designs cost anything?

No. Every dice design is free on every plan. Two are yours straight away, and the rest unlock as you play.
