Chat sits beside the map: talk in or out of character, whisper, and roll dice by typing. Rolls post their result with a full breakdown.

Open chat

Click Chat on the tool rail (right edge). A dot on the icon means unread messages.

Send a message

Type in the box and press Enter. Shift+Enter starts a new line.

Use Speaking as above the box to choose who is talking: you, your character, or (for the GM) any character or GM. As the GM, selecting a token on the board also speaks as it.

Reply to a message

Hover over a message and click Reply. The reply quotes it. Click ✕ to cancel.

Whisper

Type /w followed by a name and your message:

/w gm the door is trapped, isn't it?
/w "Sir Aldric" meet me by the well

Use quotes for names with spaces. Only you and that person see it. /players lists who you can whisper to.

Find old messages

Use Search messages… at the top, or the filter to show only Talk, Emotes, OOC, Whispers, Rolls or Scene messages. Load older messages goes further back.
