Delete or leave a game
Delete a game you run, or leave one you play in, from its card on your dashboard.
Deleting is for the game's Game Master (GM): it clears out a game you've finished with, such as a one-shot (a single-session adventure) that's over, and frees a place under your plan's game limit. Leaving is for players: it takes a game you no longer play in off your dashboard. A deleted game can't be brought back, and a player who leaves needs a new invite to return, so if you might come back to a game, keep it.
Delete a game (GM)
- On your dashboard, click the bin (Delete game) on the game's card.
- Confirm. This can't be undone.
Deleting a game removes it with its scenes, maps, character sheets, journal and uploads. Anything you also keep in your account, such as art in your asset drawer (your own art library that follows you into every game), stays. Decks aren't deleted.
Anyone still in the game sees that the GM has deleted it. The game no longer counts towards your plan's game limit.
There's no way to copy or archive a game yet. To keep a copy of a game's content, publish it as a content pack: a saved snapshot of the game you can start new games from. See Content packs.
Note: a game with a padlock on its card is a published content pack, and can't be deleted. Each version of a pack you publish is kept as a game of its own, and that is the game new games are copied from.
Leave a game (players)
- On your dashboard, click Leave game on the game's card.
- Confirm.
Your tokens are unassigned, so you no longer control your character there, and the game leaves your dashboard. To come back, you need a new invite. The GM can't leave their own game.
