Pop out your sheet
Move your character sheet into a window of its own, so you can put it on a second screen and keep the whole board in view.
On a computer your sheet normally opens on top of the board, the map in the middle of the screen: from Character Sheets it covers almost the whole screen, and in in-game mode it floats over part of the map. Popping it out moves the sheet into a separate browser window. With two screens you can keep the map on one and your sheet on the other, and roll without covering anything.
Pop it out
- Open your sheet in in-game mode, the version that floats over the board: click the tab with your character's name at the bottom left of the screen, or right-click your token (your character's figure on the board) and choose Open Character Sheet.
- Click Pop out. On the Form tab it's the small pop-out icon at the top.
The sheet opens in a new window. Drag it wherever you like. It has its own Form and Canvas switch.
If nothing happens, your browser has blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for RollQuest and click Pop out again.
Each sheet gets one window: clicking Pop out again brings that window to the front.
Keep the game open
The pop-out window works through the game's main window. Rolls, spells, targeting and damage all go through it, and the dice still land on the board for everyone. So keep the game open in its own tab or window.
If the connection to the game is lost, the pop-out says Connection to the main game window was lost. Its buttons stop working, though you can still read the sheet. Open the game again, click Pop out again, and close the old window.
