Assets are pictures and short videos you place on top of the map: furniture, a campfire, a treasure chest, a handout.

Add an asset

  1. Open the menu (three lines, top left) and click Assets. The Asset Library opens.
  2. Click Add Asset. The Add New Asset window opens.
  3. Choose a file: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP or SVG, or an MP4 or WebM video.
  4. Pick a Placement Mode:
    • Place (single click): click where it goes.
    • Directional (A-B points): click a start and an end, for something that points a way.
    • Follow (attach to token): it moves with a token.
    • None (not placeable): kept in the library only, such as a handout.
  5. Click Upload Asset.

Find assets again with Search assets... and the filters: Tokens, Deco, Props, Handouts and more.

Put one on the board

Click the asset's card, then click the board. To change just the next one you place, right-click the card: you can hide it from players or change its opacity.

Move, resize and turn it

Double-click an asset on the board to select it:

  • drag it to move it,
  • drag the corner handle to resize it,
  • drag the top handle, or press R, to turn it (R turns it 5 degrees).

Assets sit under tokens.

The asset menu

Right-click an asset for:

  • Send to Front, Send Forward, Send Backward and Send to Back,
  • Elevation,
  • Hide Asset, so players can't see it,
  • Lock Asset, so it can't be moved by mistake,
  • Attach to Token, so it follows a token around,
  • Delete.

Note: deleting an asset from the Asset Library removes every copy of it from the board, in every scene.
