Draw on the map to show the party the way, and ping a spot so everyone looks at it.

For: Game Masters and players · Plan: Free · 1 minute

Draw on the map (GM)

  1. Hover over the Mode menu and choose Draw.

  2. Pick a Tool:

    • Free: draw freehand.
    • Pen: click from point to point. Double-click, or press Enter or Esc, to finish.
    • Circle, Rect and Cone: outlines.
    • Eraser: click a line to remove it.
  3. Choose a Colour and a Thickness, and draw.

Draw from the Mode menu: circle a creature, draw the way to it, then Clear All.

Everyone sees drawings as you make them, on top of the fog. They're saved with the scene.

Clear All removes every drawing on the scene at once, without asking.

Only the Game Master (GM) can draw. There's no text tool yet.

Ping a spot

Right-click an empty spot on the map (press and hold on a phone) and choose Ping Everyone. Ripples and your name appear there for a couple of seconds, for everyone. The GM's pings are orange; a player's are their token's colour.

As the GM, you can ping a token too: right-click it and choose Ping Everyone.

Ping Everyone on the wolf: everyone sees the ripple, with your name.

Pings are switched off while you're drawing walls or doors, editing the grid or measuring.

Point everyone's view (GM)

  • Focus Ping moves every player's view to that spot, at your zoom. They see a message saying the GM has focused their view.
  • Place Party Here puts every player's token in a ring around that spot.

Find yourself again (players)

Focus on Me, in the menu (three lines, top left), centres the view on your token.
